It looks nice but is it? And is it centrally located? AND does anyone know what the chunnel is near or is it just part of the whole metro when it comes into Paris? Thank you!

I think %26quot;chunnel%26quot; is not an %26#39;approved%26#39; term for the Channel Tunnel... it doesn%26#39;t actually come into Paris - it joins up at the coast of France, then the train you%26#39;re riding on continues on to Paris and arrives at Gare du Nord.
Gare du Nord is one of the 7 (I think) railway stations in Paris. The metro connects underground so you could deboard from the Eurostar and then go on the metro to an area of Paris without leaving the railway station.
Have you read the TA reviews of the Concorde? It%26#39;s a very large hotel - I haven%26#39;t read them so go ahead and check them out...

I stayed there. The lobby is wonderful and there is a nice brasserie across the street. However, the area is a tad run-down. I was not impressed with the rooms. They were smaller than usual.

pixfield - smaller than %26quot;usual%26quot; .... just wondering if you are familiar with other Parisian hotels as most rooms are smaller than Americans are used to..
