Rue des Francs Bourgeois-Place des Vosges

Any foof suggestion for the area?I think it%26#39;s the place to take a walk on Sundays :Specially the fab. tea shop ( sorry I don%26#39;t remember the name.%26quot; Frères?%26#39;%26quot; The restaurant I prefer is the %26quot;bourgogne%26quot; on place des Vosges.Maybe %26quot;l%26#39;Ambroisie%26quot; ( if I win in the lotto one day)

Mariage frères -rue du Bourg-Tibourg- ...

thank you. is there somethin like for coffee in Paris ?

I had lunch at Ma Bourgogne mostly because I was really exhausted and, voila, the resto was right there. Sitting under the arcade was a different and nice experience. The waiters were very nice and it was summer so it was warm. But the food was just allright. But I%26#39;d love to eat there again as the experience was just great. Just remember they are on a cash basis only.

A good coffe shop in the Marais is the Columbia Cafe on 25 Rue Vielle de Temple.

I%26#39;ll have a look at it. Thank%26#39;s

It%26#39;s actually %26quot;Columbus Café%26quot;, one of a chain, a kind of French Starbucks.

Do you compare this to the Freres tea shop ???

No, as its name implies, Columbus café is a coffee shop. Mariages Frères is a tea shop. But as tea shop goes, it%26#39;s a bit passé, mainly catering to tourists nowadays. The hip place to go buy tea now in Paris is Le Palais des Thés, several outlets around Paris, the Marais one being on rue Vieille du Temple, ten meters north of the intersection with rue des Francs Bourgeois.
