Paris expensive? Not in my opinion. But then again, I%26#39;m from Norway. We can travel anywhere in the world, and the cost of food and rent are always lower then back home.

It depends.
Our hotels in the last 5 years have
been reasonable.
Food costs are somewhat higher than we
are used to.
For me, entrance fees are quite reasonable
for museums and other art and history
venues.
All of this has to be weighed against
a weak dollar: $1.25-1.30 for 1 E.

Same for us in the UK, particularly food and eating out - great meals in quality restaurants at sometimes a third or a half of what you would have to pay for the mediocre.
Hotels are always cheaper as they charge by the room, in the UK most charge by the person so bumping up the price.
Some other things are cheaper too, not clothes and books though.
