Getting from Porto Vecchio to Nice

How the heck do you get from Porto Vecchio (FSC airport) to Nice without having to go back up to Paris!!!!

I%26#39;m able to find flights from Orly to Figari in Corsica direct but not to Nice. Am I missing something? It seems so crazy to have to go all the way back up and double the trip when Nice is so close to Corsica!!!

Also, haven%26#39;t found ferries from Porto Vecchio to Nice as it would probably take a whole day if there was. Any suggestions??? Trying to plan our honeymoon and wanted to visit Paris, French Riviera (staying in Eze/Nice), and Corsica but Corsica is proving to be the most difficult leg of the trip to plan...help!

Why are you set on Porto Vecchio?

It is not ideal for you I would suggest as the main beaches are well out of town.

There are fast ferries from Nice to Calvi and L%26#39;ille Rousse where the beaches are close to town.

Do try and include Corsica in your itinery - you won%26#39;t regret it, bu try and avoid July and August when it is crowded and prices are sky high. May, June and September are great!

Thanks for your reply. We%26#39;re going June 13-30, 2006. There was a great hotel in Porto Vecchio (www.casadelmar.com) that we were drawn to and it seems to be away from the touristy spot...however, it seems like a great challenge to get to and from there!
