Does anyone happen to know what metro station is by the Hotel du Louvre? Taking the Eurostar from London and trying to go directly to the hotel. First time and clueless! Thanks!

Hotel du Louvre, Place André Malraux 75001...nearest Metro station: PALAIS ROYAL-MUSÉE du LOUVRE (lignes #1 %26amp; 7) One of the rue de Rivoli Metro exits from the this station is just around the corner from your hotel) There are no direct Metro connections from Gare du Nord to Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre station. You would either have walk several to the #7 Metro ligne...or make a train swtich en-route. There is a #48 public bus connection which will take you to within a block or so of your hotel but.......
This may simply be one of those times when simply taking a TAXI PARISIEN from the regular rank outside of Gare du Nord, directly to your hotel may be the best alternative (approx--fare 8-10 €--10-15 mins).
