2. rue St-Denis (pedestrian part)
3. Bois de Boulogne (mostly Brazilian transvestites and very dangerous after dark)

The only reason to visit Pigalle is to take pics of the Moulin Rouge and maybe the erotic museum.Last time I was there a pickpocket tried the step-on-the-back-of-the-shoes routine.
Also men and women outside the clubs and bars will pester you to go into their establishments.Some will even follow you half a block to try to get you into them.Must work on commission.
