Weather in December: 1st and 2nd week...

Never been, don%26#39;t know what kind of clothes/shoes to take as I don%26#39;t know just how cold it will be. I%26#39;m sure comfy shoes are a must as it sounds like most things are within walking distance. Just how cold will it be????

The weather in early December can be everything from reasonably warm upper 40s F to quite chilly low 30s. The only certainty is that IT WILL RAIN! Parisians typically keep the heat turned up high, so if you%26#39;re shopping or doing some other activity that requires repeatedly going in and outdoors, you%26#39;ll find yourself dressing and undressing again and again. Think layers. A trench coat with a zip-out lining is generally good. You%26#39;ll definitely need gloves and a scarf due to the damp cold. Also, bring at least two pairs of good walking shoes, keeping in mind that they are likely to get wet.

For what it%26#39;s worth, I keep the Paris weather current conditions up at all times on my Excite home page. You might also look at the weather channel international weather forcasts starting a week befor your trip. You will at least have a 5 day forcast and current temps etc.
