!st time to Paris - help please

I want to go to Paris next Spring/Summer with my husband. We are mid 40s and it will be my first time to Paris.

Can anyone recommend a good centrally located hotel 3* or 4* please?

One with an indoor pool would be particularly good.

I have no idea which area to stay in.

Budget for 3 or 4 nights including Eurostar is about £300 to £400 per person, cheaper if I can get it!

I want to stay 3 or 4 nights and see all the main sights.

Restuarant reccoemndations also greatly received.

We wish to travel by Eurostar.

Is a Paris by night tour good? Would anyone recommend the Seine lucnh/dinner curise - which is best? Is it worth taking a city tour?

I want to go to either Lido or Moulin Roughe - which is best show and best meal?

Thanks in advance for your help.

All these topics (except the swimming pool) have been covered in detail in recent posts. Please use the search box to find lots of good information.

I%26#39;m not aware of any moderately-priced hotels that have an indoor pool. Certainly, the Ritz does, but that%26#39;s not in your stated price range. The city has public pools scattered around, many of which are quite nice. You can find a listing of those on www.paris.fr/en

In Paris deluxe hotels have indoor pools and available if you are willing to pay at least 600 or 700 euro per night. There is one 4* hotel in St. Germain called L%26#39;Hotel that has an indoor pool and rates are as low as high 200 euro/night. I suggest staying in the 1st-7th districts for first time visitors. These areas are close to many sights that can be reached by walking easily. Also there are many restaurant selections available.

I don%26#39;t know about the Lido other than what I%26#39;ve read and it doesn%26#39;t seem as good as the Moulin Rouge which I visited. The show is very good, but the food is not great at all. If you pay for dinner you get a seat on the main floor.
