1st timer

I am going to Paris on the 4th of November and would like some help please? We are going to be there for 2 nights (but 3 days) and would like to know of the %26#39;must sees%26#39; that I should do in such a short space of time.

We are staying in the Montalembert and already have a 7pm reservation at the Altitude 95 for the friday night.

I am 25, boyfriend is 31 any ideas on bars and a restaurant for the saturday?

Thank you!

If it%26#39;s not done yet, arm yourself with a Time Out Paris guide, it%26#39;s up to date on classic sightseeing and the latest hip places. For bars on Saturday, head towards rue Oberkampf in the 11th, at the sector around rue Saint-Maur. Plenty of hip, non touristy action. Café Charbon should not be missed.

Hi, Mary -

You might like DK%26#39;s TOP 10-PARIS. It covers all the main sights...and then some...with a surprising amount of info for such a small book. Also has a metro/RER map, plus good maps for central Paris. It%26#39;s the one we carried with us every day.

That shouldn%26#39;t be a problem, simply thumb through the Paris guidebook that you%26#39;ve been using to prepare for this trip and check off those sights and attraction which interest you most. From this number you should be able to trim it down to your own Top Ten with no trouble at all.

I%26#39;ll recycle this comment I posted on another request:

The Paris Tourist Office has these recommendations for sightseeing for 1, 2 or 3 days:

…parisinfo.com/paris_sightseeing/rub5906.html

And Fodors / Frommers both have Destination information for short visits:

frommers.com/destinations/…0062020865.html

Essential would be a good map to locate

a the good things you want to see.

May I recommend STREETWISE - Paris.
