ATTN: poster named "Discover" and website for France hotels

hi... there are a lot of websites for hotels in France (not just Paris)...

Many of the ones I listed on my %26#39;Research%26#39; note, if not all, work for France, too. You might have to find %26quot;home%26quot; or whatever to get to the France-level ...

What was it about your %26#39;missing%26#39; website that you liked or was helpful, maybe I can recognize which one you mean...

I looked a t your site but I will go back and see if there are any places to hit a home button.

The thing I liked about the web site was it would give each region of France with the specific technical French names for each.

It would show a map of the areas. One could get a map showing where the hotels, hostels, etc. were located with a star

(or a typical marker) on a road map. They also compiled the list according to least expensive to most expensive.

It also showed popular tourist sites to visit.

It also gave the Tourist Information addresses and numbers.

I have about two huge boxes left of my old French planning information to look through. I hope I did print up the web site somewhere.

The web site seemed like maybe it was sponsored by French Tourist site. One could click on to each region to bring up the information.

It was a very valuable web site but I lost it two computers ago when the first computer burned out and the old programs which I saved the information on would not work on my new computer.

I plan to get about 34 hotels aound France for our coming trip and I was hoping to use it like I did last time.

If you can help me I would appreciate it very much. If I do find it as I go through the last 2 1/2 boxes of French Travel information I will post it for those of you also looking for the same information.

The closest I can come to your description is

This shows the French names for each region/department

Has a map showing towns and hotels with a marker

Lists the hotels with a %26#39;starts at 999€%26#39; price (but not in price order)

Has a %26#39;tourism%26#39; link showing museums, etc (but not the tourist office)
