Depends where you wanna go. Places like Vence or St-Paul-de-Vence or Mougins or Eze-Village are easier to reach by car than by bus )(no train goes there). Same for St-Tropez. But Menton, Monaco, Vintimille, Cannes, Antibes-Juan Les Pins can be reached by train. You have also to account for the parking problem. Where is your hotel and is there an indoor parking in it or close to it? What about the price of gas? I suggest first you make a list of what you intend to visit and then on that basis you decide if you rent a car. And you don%26#39;t have to rent for your whole stay. I usually go for 10-14 days period and only rent a car for 4 days.

I would say: Don%26#39;t rent a car in advance. Start exporing without one.

Ten, if you find that you would after all need one for a day or two, then rent locally. At least one of the local opertors, LUTAM, allows you to use their citycentre parking facility free of charge.

I%26#39;ll be staying at le club sunterra, in mougins. at the moment i have no idea on the transportation from the resort to city centre (i.e. is it within walking distant or need to take a bus or train).

anyway, i%26#39;ll plan carefully so that i won%26#39;t be wasting on renting a car unnessarily.
