Hi,
I will be going to Paris for 5 days with my family (4 adults and a child) this coming Dec via eurostar. Thinking of spending one day in Disneyland. Eurostar is selling the disney pass and round-trip subway to Disney for 44 pounds, is that considered cheap? Or should I just buy separate disney tickets online from Disneyland website and travel to disney from Paris on our own. It%26#39;s easy to get to Disney from Paris right? Will it be too cold to go for the rides in Dec?
How about Walt Disney? Is it worth going? Is any a need to stay one night stay in Disneyland? If yes, any resonable priced hotels nearby to recommend?
Anyone can recommend resonable priced service apartments with 2 bedrooms in central Paris? Preferably located near Arc de Trumiph. Most of the accommodation i find are hotels, can%26#39;t find any service apartments for family stay.
any nearby trips out of Paris that is worth going? I only have 5 days to travel and one day is for disneyland and maybe another 2 days touring Paris itself.

Just returned from a three-week stay in Europe with our family of six (mom and dad and four daughters) beginning in Paris central and ending in Paris Disneyland. We stayed in an apartment in Paris (one block from the Eiffel Tower so well-located and with a metro stop closeby) from ParisPerfect and it was wonderful. The apartment had everything a family could want/need from coffee maker, teapot, to washer/dryer combo. We could do meals in the apt or bring some home to eat with the view of the tower from our living room and dining table. It truly was %26quot;home%26quot; to us and we began to feel a little like locals by the end of the week.
While you can do Disney in one day, it can become a really long day. There are two parks there now but the Disney Studios one can be done in half a day or less if you opt not to do the shows (stunt and something else). While we were there (beginning of Oct) it was chilly and the sky leaden (looked like it might rain but never did) all the ride were operating except those closed for the season (Canal Boats, Casey Junior, Autopia). It was somewhat crowded, but the lines were not long.
You can easily get from Paris to Disney as the RER train stops ride next to the gates, but if you want to stay near Disney I have a great recommendation for a family. It is the Marriott Village d%26#39;Ille-de-France just outside of Paris Disneyland in Bailly-Romainvilliers. They are all two-story condos with one or two bedrooms and full kitchens, living rooms and two full bathrooms, and all very new and modern. Wonderful place, great staff...we loved it! You can check it out on their website. It is a vacation village so a time-share but they did not push buying in to it at all.
Hope this helps...let me know of you need any more info.

Hi desenberge,
Thanks for your advice. What is the name of the apartment that you stayed near the Effel tower?
Did you go to both parks or just Disneyland? I%26#39;m not sure whether Walt Disney is worth going.

oh yes another question would be ... for the Marriott Village d%26#39;Ille-de-France, is the hotel within walking distance from disneyland as I saw from their map, it seems pretty far to walk. Do we need to find a transport to/fro disneyland? Is there free shuttle service provided from the hotel?

The name of the apartment in Paris is Romanee from Parisperfect.com. Great place..we loved the view and felt it was worth every penny.
You cannot walk from the Marriot to Disney, but they do have shuttles that run periodically (I think every half hour or hour). We had a car so did not use the shuttle. It is very close by to drive...took us less than 10 minutes from our door to the park. But with all the roads and limited access you really could not walk (nor would I think you would want to after a day at Disney).
We are big Disney fans, so it was well-worth it for us to go to both parks just for the experience. The Disney Studio park did not have that many ride and not that many shows. If you only want to do one park, just do Paris Disneyland. It is wonderful and we had a great time.
Let me know if you need any more info.

I have never been to Euro Disney and do not plan to go next summer when we go to Paris, but we only live an hour from Disney
World, so that is the reason. Disney is great and if you have never been, then by all means, go. We used to go to Disney before we had kids, and after we had them we got yearly passes and I would go for the day with the little ones. It is a great, fun experience in Florida and I am sure in Paris it is the same, knowing the Disney standard for excellence.
