Would like to day trip to Vincent van GOGH%26#39;s grave site. Can you tell me where to go to catch the train how much I should expect to pay and the train schedule.
Can you take pictures in the Musee d%26#39; Orsay and Picasso Musee?

To get to AUVER-sur-OISE from Paris, you would need to take an SNCF train from PARIS-Gare du Nord to AUVER-sur-OISE (with a quick change of trains at St.Ouen l%26#39;Aumone en-route). The travel time should be 60-75 minutes and the r.t fare should be 9,30 €uro per person.
YES you may take photos in the Musées d%26#39;Orsay and Picasso...but NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY is allowed.

Thank%26#39;s for the posting local expert.
Can you say how many trains run there per day?

You can get all this information on www.transilien.com. Only the French version has a link for getting the ticket prices.
Most museums do allow photos with **no flash** - please observe this rule. The Louvre has recently introduced new rules regarding **no photos** in certain rooms.
The interior lighting in the Orsay and Picasso museums allow for photos with no flash - mine came out just fine.

Hi Micro -
As KDKSail said, photography is allowed in the Orsay and the light is pretty good, enough to take photos without a flash. I%26#39;m a %26quot;Vincent admirer%26quot; too and now have a great shot of me standing next to one of his self-portraits. Also took the Bedroom at Arles.

Offhand, I can%26#39;t say how many trains per day run from PARIS-Gare du Nord to AUVER-sur-OISE...but I%26#39;ll bet the SNCF-French National Railways keeps pretty good track (pun intended) of this stuff and they may know--

There%26#39;s no advance purchase discounts or specials for this regional train service, so simply use any day of the week/times that are likely to correspond with the your intended visit to get the daily schedule. Fares are not available but one-way will run 4,65 €uro. It would also be a good ide to jot down the train schedule details in your PARIS TRAVEL NOTEBOOK, to refer to once you%26#39;re in Paris and deciding if/when to visit.
In addition to this information, you might also check out the information available for the details of the sites and attractions of the area to use for planning/reference. As an example: AUBERGE RAVOUX is CLOSED on Mondays and Tuesdays and from Nov 1st through Feb 28
