Heading for Paris for one week in early December, we are looking for a hotel in the Champs-Elysees. Does anyone know a nice, clean, safe and good value (100-125 euros for a double) in that great avenue?
Merci.

I don%26#39;t think there are any budget hotels with a %26quot;Champs Elysee%26quot; address... maybe something a couple blocks off the Champs..?
Hotel Tilsitt Etoile - just off the Arc de Triomphe, has some good special rates on their website

How coincidental this is. I stayed at the Hotel Tilsitt in 1999. This was before the recent renovations. Now I see they have a glass shower shield in the baths. Back then either you wet the whole bathroom or you had to sit and take a shower. Anyway, the staff were friendly but the rooms are typically small.

Thank you for all your prompt suggestions.
As Guguk I believe to stay in Saint Louis-en-île is %26quot;much better than in the champs...%26quot; but, it is not more expensive? Can you please suggest some hotels there.

Hotels in the Champs area tend to be very expensive, high-end, expense-account types, ie. Marriott, Radisson, Hilton and French similar. It%26#39;s more of a business district than a charming Parisian neighborhood...
There are only about 4-6 hotels on Ile St Louis - the more moderately priced would be
- Hotel Saint Louis, 75 r Saint Louis en l%26#39;ile 75004 (http://www.hotel-paris-saintlouis.com/)
- Hotel de Lutece, 65 rue St Louis en l%26#39;Ile 75004 (http://www.paris-hotel-lutece.com)
- Hotel des Deux Iles,59 r St Louis en l%26#39;Ile 75004 (http://www.deuxiles-paris-hotel.com/)

Hotel des deux Iles , is a good place to stay in
